About

A.B Chillinn, hailing from Jacksonville, North Carolina's musical range comes from his earliest memories of his father introducing him to The Notorious B.I.G., Wu-Tang, and Outkast. He took this introduction to music from home and eventually using it as the foundation to start rapping on his own. He started writing his own rhymes and freestyling over well known beats in high school and also in college.

A.B. Chillinn has pulled influences from projects like Lord Willin by The Clipse, Kanye West's College Dropout, and J.Cole's The Warm Up to help with his own inspiration to create projects of his own.

A.B. Chillinn, dropped out of college to serve in the United States Marine Corps and was able to record music for the first time while in the military. Influenced by tragedy and adversity that he dealt with as an adult and while in the military, he put all of his feelings into a track that he recorded in a friend's room who had a mic and studio set up. He eventually finished his first group project ILL DISTRICT WEST. The group also came out with Afghan Kush while in Afghanistan, and the final group project ILL District Nation BEAT JACKERS VOL 1: SUPERVILLIANS.

There is more to come from A.B. Chillinn. As a full-time musician, he has his own studio set up where he can record freely now and create what he wants. A.B. is unique and focused on his own type of work and not worried about what other artists are doing. What's birth from his creative bubble is yet to come. Be ready...
